Week 6 Ratte "Fictitious"
Fictitious: (adj.) Something imaginary or fabricated, not real or true.
“He was tall and thin, and wore his coats padded, which gave a fictitious breadth and depth to his shoulders and chest.”
I found this word while looking for a quote out of The Awakening, for my essay. I did not use this quote, bur this word stuck out to me because I have never seen it before. After looking it up it made a lot more sense and changed the way I looked at the passage.
